Éditions Comète
Éditions Comète is an independent publishing house and screen-printing studio specializing in fine art prints. Founded in Lyon in 2016, it is now based in Saône-et-Loire (FRANCE), working with both French and international artists.
Its activities revolve around four main areas: print on demand, fine art publishing, artist residencies, and professional training in screen printing. Over the years, Éditions Comète has partnered with technical and scientific experts to ensure continuous innovation and maintain the highest standards of quality.

The Studio
Located in Saint-Léger-sous-la-Bussière, the 100 m² studio was designed to support the entire graphic process required for fine art printing. It can handle media up to 80 × 120 cm and 4 cm thick, thanks to a full range of specialized equipment carefully chosen to reproduce the finest details of the most demanding projects.
Éditions Comète also offers a wide selection of pigments and pearlescent inks, ensuring colors of unmatched precision, intensity, and depth.
Residencies
Éditions Comète welcomes artists in residence in a peaceful, green environment in the Saône-et-Loire countryside — an ideal setting for creative work.
These residencies provide the opportunity to develop a publishing project with the guidance and technical expertise of the operator, and full access to the studio’s equipment. Residencies can be undertaken individually or in small groups (up to three people).
Selection is based on an application: artists are invited to submit their project by email. This leads to a discussion to define objectives, establish a timeline, and prepare a personalized quote.

Training
Designed for professional screen printers, the training programs at Éditions Comète are tailored to help refine and advance printing practices. Courses may cover, among other topics: process printing, advanced techniques, prepress management, preparation and use of inks, pigments and additives, RIP setup, and analog printing.
Trainings are available individually or in small groups (up to three participants). On-site accommodation is also available for the duration of the course.
