Blok 102 : Zapad

“Zapad Means West …”
Through this book, Blok 102 discuss about fantasized memories of the past.
The car, which is a strong symbol of social status, is dissected.
Its imaginary, from racing to the sedan passing by tuning, is hybridized with the designs from Blok 102.

Zapad is a fully screen-printed book of 34 pages.
A total of 136 screen-print layers were necessary to complete this book, its comes with an exlibris.
The front cover was printed using a letterpress technique.
The pages were printed on Arena rough natural 200g/m², the cover on spendorlux pearl silver 225g/m² and the exlibris on arena rough natural 300g/m².
The book was bind by two sewing made by hand.
19 * 27 cm.

Book published in 230 copies.
