“You need an update”

A screenprinted edition by Paul Riedmüller.
For this edition, the printing process has been designed to transpose Paul’s technique into a screenprinted edition.
By printing four successive layers of gray, the image is built up, bringing great softness to the tonal transitions. A fifth layer of flat color is printed, intended for the floating shapes within the image, and then a final layer of completely transparent ink adds a glaze of color over the previously printed image in shades of gray.
This process offered the possibility of creating color variants.

Prints are produced in six layers, measuring 50 x 70 cm, on Arches 88 paper, 300 g/m², with a light satin finish. There are three color variants, with fifteen copies of each.
the series is numbered and signed on forty-five copies plus eight proofs.
